Hello friends!
I just wanted to jump on here really quick to ask you to please pray for me tomorrow, as I will be doing my first "solo" funeral. Pray that God uses me to minister to the family as they mourn the death of their loved one. Amazingly, I have a sense of peace about it; I can only attribute that to God's presence.
I promise to do a much fuller update in the near future. This week has just been absolute madness and I have not had much of a chance to take a moment to breathe. When I have that opportunity, I will be on here, filling you in on all the details!

Thank you Laura for your God given talent of sharing your love for all the children you have come in contact with thru Caringbridge and other sites. I have followed a few children after finding them thru your updates with Baby Asher. My heart breaks for these precious children who suffer so much but at the same time I marvel and the strength and courage that they and their families possess. We can all learn lessons of great courage and hope from them. I will continue to pray for you as you follow Gods will.
Hi Laura, I have been following Baby Ashers sight for a while now, among several others. I also have become very attached to these children. I have cried so many tears with the heartaches and setbacks and then I smile a mile wide smile for each little victory. After reading these sights, I feel like I know these people. Its a strange feeling.
I am also a Lutheran and I am very involved in my church. My pastor keeps asking when I am going to seminary. I just don't feel the calling yet. I am definately keeping my eyes and ears open for it though! I have a strong feeling that you will become an awesome pastor that any church will be lucky to have!! May your life be filled with peace, happiness and love!! Diane
